CARING FOR EACH OTHER

WORSHIPING & GROWING TOGETHER

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP

11AM in the Worship Hall

Wherever you are, whoever you are, our relaxed community welcomes you with thoughtful sermons, inspired music, children’s time, and shared joys, concerns and service opportunities as we journey together, caring for ourselves, each other, and our world.

WEDNESDAY COMMUNITY PRAYER

On hiatus for the Summer

Our pastor leads weekly prayer in the sanctuary at COS on Wednesdays. Prayer will begin at noon and last about 30 minutes. Each week, it will include a simple liturgy of prayer, silent centering prayer, as well as prayers for one another, the congregation, and the world for that week. Stay for conversation and a brown bag lunch afterwards. This activity will resume after Labor Day.

WEDNESDAY EVENING CENTERING PRAYER

6:30PM in Shalom House

You’ll find here a quietly powerful infusion of spirit, respite from the day’s busyness,  thoughtful reflection on scripture, and opening to the presence of God in our lives.

BIBLE STUDY GROUP

9:30 on Sunday in the Shalom House

We read scripture supported by readings from a wide range of theologians, Biblical scholars, and spiritual seekers. This is a time for reflection, discussion, questioning, and discovery.

ADULT DISCUSSION GROUP

9:30 on Sunday in the Shalom House

Rotating leadership offers a forum for often freewheeling discussion of wide variety of topics, offering a faith-centered base for considering issues facing our church, our society, and our world.

THE COS CHOIR

9:30 on Sunday in the Choir Room

Make a joyful sound unto the Lord! If you'd like to join our choir, we'd love to have you. No try-out necessary! Contact Alex to get started!

LENTEN SOUP SUPPER REFLECTION SERIES

Every Wednesday during Lent, we share a simple meal and thoughtful discussion of major issues seen though the lens of scripture. Recent topics include white privilege, sexuality, and environmental justice.

BLUE CHRISTMAS PRAYER SERVICE

Holidays can be difficult for many reasons. Join us for a special service reminding us that God’s presence is for those who mourn and struggle; and that God’s light still shines into every dark corner of our world and dark times in our lives.
