We use a Sunday School curriculum called “A Joyful Path” created by the folks at Progressive Christianity.
After Children’s Time, children from Kindergarten through 5th grade head to Sunday School for a lesson from “Ministry Revolutions,” a lectionary-based curriculum from Illustrated Ministry- plus some experiential activities like singing, playing games, or creating art. If there’s time, a trip to the playground is always fun!
Don’t want to go to Sunday School? That’s okay!
If your child wants to stay in the worship service with you, go by the Hospitality Table and pick up a coloring sheet, a word search, or a crossword puzzle, or children’s books for them to use during the service!
NOTE: While we are holding services at 2nd Presbyterian, you can find everything on the hospitality table near the entry doors -or- we have play mats for babies and toddlers spread at the back of the seating area in the Fellowship Hall.

Children’s Christmas Pageant
Santa’s Workshop is a special intergenerational event that gives parents the morning off while we create gifts, visit with Santa, sing Christmas carols, and more!
COS Kids Camp happens each year after the school year ends. We learn about Creation Care, Bible stories, children in other countries, AND we have lots of fun and good food!
