Season of Creation

Throughout September many faith traditions celebrate the Season of Creation. Here are some ideas for you to honor this Season of Creation throughout the month.

Each Monday in September at 7:00 pm, Vespers With Creation, an ecumenical time of prayerful meditation (free, via Zoom, registration required. See creationjustice.org for more information)

09/14/24 Train to become a Spirituality in Nature Group Leader ($50, but scholarships available, via Zoom, sponsored by The Center for Spirituality in Nature. Further details can be found at centerforspirituality.org)

09/19/24 Author Talk with Brian McLaren, author of Life After Doom; Wisdom and Courage for a World Falling Apart (free, via Zoom, registration required. See creationjustice.org for specific action options)

Through 09/20/24, participate in the Action Alert to protect Old Growth Forests (see creationjustice.org for specific action options)

09/21/24 Global Day of Action supporting the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty (FFNPT), a global framework to transition our world from coal, oil, and gas.
