The COS Adult Study Group will meet again this week at 10 AM in Shalom House. This month, we will begin a new study of Walter Wink’s book, The Powers That Be - Theology for a New Millennium. , we will begin our study of Walter Wink’s book, The Powers That Be - Theology for a New Millennium, in January and February. In it, he articulates his understanding of the “domination system” at work in our world, the power of non-violence shown to us in Jesus, and how to “engage the powers” non-violently without losing our souls. 

The Powers That Be - Theology for a New Millennium, by Walter Wink (Doubleday, April 1998) can be found on-line, new or used, with Kindle and other formats, or order it through a local bookstore. 

We will begin our study looking at the Introduction and Chapter 1 on Sunday, January 14. ALL COS MEMBERS AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED to join us in the Shalom House.
